Healing is not linear, but ratification of mind.

Updated: Jun 10, 2020

What is healing? When the subject of healing is brought up we tend to think of physical healing. But for the purpose of this brief talk today, when we speak of healing, we are speaking of the mind. The radical ratification of the old mind to the exorcised development of a mindset freed from the bondage of the prison cells we encase ourselves. Deliverance of one's new self takes place in many different ways, upon a long and winding road to discover one’s true identity, and the belief, faith, and hope that the creator knows every hair on our head and has cried with us, laughed with us, mourned and celebrated with us. You see the healing of the mind is something that one must labor for, must sweat over, must cry out from the depths of despair in their souls that only God sees, hears, and cares. As being one, whom God has healed mentally, I can attest to the utter power and majesty of the radical ratification of my mind. The moment was so incredibly powerful, and at the same exact time as gentle as a baby’s touch. The transformation of healing culminated on a Sunday afternoon but started as far back as I can remember. For me, healing was not this straight line, but a road attempting to go over the Himalayas.

Over the course of time God sets us free from the lies we tell ourselves, He delivers us from the poor choices that we have made in the past, He gives us new eyes to see ourselves with, and new ears to hear His voice as He speaks to us. We have been set apart through Christ, and it is through Christ that we find a new life, new hope, and a new mind. It is Christ in us who sets us free
