Clinically Trained Counselor
Gregory earned his Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2008. Gregory is a clinically trained counselor who believes that Jesus Christ is the only way to true freedom, no matter what the circumstances, (John 14:6). Gregory also received his Pastoral License from the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) in 2019.
Gregory counsels from the stance that all people need four things to succeed. First and foremost, we need Jesus Christ and His saving Grace.
Second, people need safety and security. If an individual doesn’t feel safe and secure then they can never really feel comfortable about their surroundings and who they are, (Psalms 122 NIV).
Third, people need to know their identity and significance. If a person does not know who they are, then how can one be comfortable in the world? Knowing who you truly are is so vital to mental health, spiritual health, and relationships. (John 1:12, 15:15-Romans 8:31-39).
The fourth need is purpose. When you have achieved safety and security you start to realize who you are when you develop your purpose (1 Peter 2:9, Jeremiah 29:11-14, Proverbs 19:21).
These are some of the goals we will work towards in your journey to wholeness.
I have been to a number of counselors and therapists over the last decade, and my experience with Greg over this past year has been different in the most positive way.
